Honglin Zhao (Chief Executive Officer)

Honglin was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer in March 2015. Mr Zhao has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2010 and remains an Executive Director of Grange.

Mr Zhao has extensive experience in the industry and was previously the Commander of Project Development Headquarters with Shagang. Mr Zhao also has vast project management and implementation experience.

  • Steven Phan

Steven Phan (Chief Financial Officer)

Steven was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Grange Resources in April 2016. Prior to joining Grange Resources, Steven was Chief Financial Officer of Norton Gold Fields Limited since 2012 where he was responsible for executing Norton's financial strategy, working with Norton's Board of Directors and Executive Committee. During his time with Norton, he successfully managed the company's gold price-risk strategy in a declining gold price environment and was actively involved with the company's cost reduction initiatives and corporate transactions. He comes with 15 years of experience in financial management, reporting, valuation and advisory for Canadian, Chinese and Australian publicly listed corporations, particularly in the mining sector. Earlier in his career, he held positions with Eldorado Gold Corporation and professional services firms Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and KPMG. Steven graduated from Simon Fraser University in Canada with a Bachelor in Business Administration and trained as a Chartered Accountant.

  • Ben Maynard

Ben Maynard (General Manager Operations) BSc(Hons), Grad Dip Comp

Ben joined Grange Resources in 2009 having worked with the Savage River operation for over 15 years. His extensive experience with the operation covers professional expertise and management responsibilities in geology, information technology, business improvement and technical services. In his current role of General Manager Operations, Ben leads operational teams to develop business plans & deliver production. Ben is an active member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and has responsibility for the JORC competent person sign off on Savage River resources and reserves. Ben is also a participant in the government supported Tasmanian Leaders Program.
